Laserzone Privacy Policy
This policy describes the way that Laserzone collects, holds and discloses information about individuals. Laserzone acts at all times in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act, which include the National Privacy Principles. Laserzone will also act in accordance with this Privacy Policy at all times.
Protecting confidential information is fundamental to our relationship with our customers and to our business. All personal information received in respect of our dealings with you is treated confidentially. We will not disclose such information except in accordance with your consent or as a necessary part of providing our goods and services to customers.
Failure to give us requested personal information, may affect our ability to meet our obligations to you.
What information do we collect?
During the course of conducting our business, we will collect personal information, which includes the following kinds of personal information:
- Personal details of customers including name, address and contact details.
- Information relating to the goods and services you require or as to your previous dealings with the company including playing history, results and Laser Tag achievements.
- In the event that an application for credit is made by an existing or potential customer, financial information relevant to processing that application such as bank accounts, overdraft facilities etc.
- Information relating to employment applications including resume and any attachments, information gained from interviews and reference checks.
Use and disclosure of personal information
Laserzone will use personal information for the purpose for which it is collected, including:
- To provide and account for services provided to our customers, manage the relationship with you or our customers, and to improve our goods and service provision.
- In the event that an application for credit is made by a potential or existing customer, conducting checks with financial institutions or credit reference agencies to determine your suitability to be provided with credit.
- On a confidential basis, to any third person, including external service providers (such as trades persons or sub-contractors), where necessary in the provision of our goods and services to customers.
- Either where the law requires us or where you or our customers consent for us to do so.
- Within the our Company as a part of carrying out our business operations and to report Laser Tag rankings and statistics.
- In the event that you are an applicant for a job, information collected will be used for the purposes of determining your suitability for the available position.
We may also use your personal information for the purposes of sending you direct marketing material relating to Laserzone. Should you not wish to receive this information, please contact the Privacy Officer noted below immediately.
Information Security
Laserzone takes every reasonable step to protect all information that it holds, whether in hard copy or electronic form, against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Quality of personal information
Our goal is to take every reasonable step to ensure the personal information collected at Laserzone is complete and up to date.
Access to information
You are able to request access to your personal information at any time and to seek to correct it if you do not believe that information is accurate or up to date. Where the National Privacy Principles allow us, we may refuse to provide access to information held about you. We may at our discretion charge a reasonable fee for providing to you requested information.

Photography and Video Content
The Laserzone website and Facebook page contains information and materials including but not limited to text, software, photos, video, graphics and audio, (collectively "Materials") which are derived by video, digital camera security cameras and webcams. Patrons should be aware that when you attend Laserzone, digital images including stills and video may be taken of you while you are on the premises. These images are sometimes used in our advertising material and on our website or Facebook to promote Laserzone as a venue. If at anytime you see an image or video containing your image and do not wish for it to be used, you may immediately contact Laserzone in writing and request that it not be used. Laserzone management will then remove your image from any future advertising and the Laserzone website or Facebook page. Laserzone respects the privacy of visitors to our business, our web site and our Facebook page.
