Building laser sharp teams - Sunshine Coast Daily
Manager Annette Lasek probably had more positive outcomes in mind when she started urging corporate types to replace their collars and ties with game packs and lasers.
At Laserzone, players wear computerised vests featuring sensors that are activated when "shot" by lasers fired by their opponents. Players compete in an arena that is shrouded in semi-darkness and fog.
"There are heaps of different applications to the business world," Ms Lasek said.
"You can divide into teams and see who scores the highest; or you can also choose a game where you protect a base, which is like your market share, and tie in the game format with business outcomes."
